20 Weeks

We had our 20 week U/S today and am so excited to say that we have on healthy, perfect, wonderful.. BABY GIRL!

How far along?  20w
Total weight gain: Up 6 whole pounds!! (134)
Maternity clothes?  Same stuff
Stretch marks?  So happy to say NO!
Sleep: Sleep is my favorite thing right now..
Miss Anything?  Alcohol. Alcohol. Alcohol. and Sushi
Best Moment this week: Finding out Little Baby G is a SHE!!! 
Movement: So many kicks!!
Food cravings: I think I have at least 4 different kinds of Ice Cream in my freezer right now..
Aversions: Red meat will be the death of me
Gender Prediction: I was right.. IT'S A GIRL!!
Symptoms: Backaches and heartburn
Belly Button in or out? In(ish)
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!!
Looking forward to: Some down time hahaha
Not looking forward to: Working this weekend. BOO!!

Oh my we need a nursery!!

Well I guess this is what they call nesting. Had a minor freak out about 2 weeks ago realizing that we had done NOTHING for our sweet little babe. Other than the 2 outfits, okay maybe 3, that we found we had gotten nowhere. We kept finishing different things off in other parts of the house. Put the deck and patio in, finished the decor in the kitchen, got a new TV stand for the basement. Baby's room? Nadda. So, last week I had Doug take off Friday so we could get started.

We had a few ideas about what we wanted to do. I knew I wanted the colors to be grey and yellow but had no idea of how to paint the room. So, we decided to just pain the room grey and then do different accents in yellow. I LOVE IT!!! The grey isn't dark, but light and welcoming.  I can't wait to get the furniture in and finish everything up. But, I feel much better having done this much!!

19 Weeks

How far along?  19w3d
Total weight gain: I'll find out Thursday. But I think I'm up a few more pounds!
Maternity clothes?  Nothing new this week. Once the weather changes again I'll get more stuff.
Stretch marks?  Nope!!
Sleep: Sleep has been AMAZING this week. I only woke up 2 nights to go to the bathroom. Otherwise, slept through the night. It was AWESOME!
Miss Anything?  oh.. you know.. same stuff. Getting really hard to not drink with preseason football on!!!
Best Moment this week: Sleeping through the night and painting the nursery! I love it!!
Movement: Little one is so active in there. Doug love's feeling babe move all over the place.
Food cravings: I baked blueberry muffins and a chocolate chip cake this week.. they were delicious. I don't know what I am going to do when all this fruit goes away!
Aversions: Red meat, ketchup and mexican is back on the no no list.
Gender Prediction: WE FIND OUT ON THURSDAY!!!! Could be a boy.. could be a girl.. I still think girl..
Symptoms: More headaches.. and those lovely backaches..
Belly Button in or out? I guess it can still be labeled as "in" but it looks NOTHING like what it used to. Freaks me out.
Wedding rings on or off? On! <--- so happy about this!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Mood swings. Holy hell.
Looking forward to: OUR 20 WEEK U/S!!!! Of course seeing the doctor too. Can't wait to see our precious babe again.
Not looking forward to: Figuring out my class schedule for my final few classes. I really don't want to go back to class. BOO!

18 Weeks

So, this weekend my in-laws came down from Pittsburgh and we had a wonderful time. It was great to see them. I had my first no-drinking winery experience.. I'm not a fan. Otherwise it has been a pretty easy week!! Also, sorry for my just napped/no shower look I'm rocking in this picture..

Total weight gain: I have no idea..
Maternity clothes?  Still the same stuff.. 
Stretch marks?  Negative
Sleep: Sunday naps are the best. (Just woke up from one!) But otherwise sleep has been pretty good. Lots of bathroom breaks but I've been so thirsty lately!!!
Miss Anything?  Wine. Sangria. Makers Mark. My alcohol list is endless...
Best Moment this week: Bought a Coach diaper bag that was 20% off and I had a 30% off coupon. BOOM!!! SO excited.
Movement: Saw my belly move for the first time when baby kicked on Friday. Scared the hell outta me.. I'm not ready for that!! Stop growing baby!!!
Food cravings: Sweets. Took an entire bag of chocolate chips to work this week. Wow.
Aversions: still red meat and ketchup.
Gender Prediction: little girl
Symptoms: Nosebleeds have started this week.. as well as backaches. Little one likes to lay on my spine..
Belly Button in or out? Still an "inny"
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Happy or Moody most of the time: I was a little moody this week.. I was super tired though..
Looking forward to: Getting the nursery together next weekend!!
Not looking forward to: Working. I could be sleeping!!

17 Weeks

How far along?  17w3d
Total weight gain: I bet I gained another pound. 
Maternity clothes?  Nothing new this week. Still love my dresses
Stretch marks?  Doug is very good about slathering my belly with lotion when I get out of the shower. Still no stretch marks!!
Sleep: Had a ton of bathroom breaks this week. But sleep is my favorite right now. (esp our Sunday nap times on the couch!)
Miss Anything?  Alcohol. Summer just is not the same.
Best Moment this week: Friday we went on a date night that was fabulous. Don't know how many more of those we will have!!
Movement: Daddy has a new favorite game that he has titled "push belly". He can now feel our little one squirm and kick around and when he pushes my belly, baby pushes or kicks back. He finds this just hilarious. Of course he does it right when I am trying to go to sleep..
Food cravings: Great part about summer is the delicious FRUIT!
Aversions: I would really like to know if I will ever be able to smell ketchup or red meat again without wanting to throw up.
Gender Prediction: Girly girl
Symptoms: HEADACHES. Holy crap.
Have you started to show? Yes. I think that is the only answer now.
Belly Button in or out? Flatter by the week. I'm so nervous for it to "pop".
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! So happy I end up crying a lot.
Looking forward to: In-laws coming in next weekend. Haven't seen them in a long time.
Not looking forward to: Not seeing our little peanut for 3 more weeks! Boo!
